2011 Pastoral Internship PDF Print E-mail

The National Association of Calvary Chapels in Russia, working in partnership with Calvary Chapel Church Planting Mission, will, Lord willing, be starting a one-year pastoral training and preparation program in the Moscow region of Russia for 2011. We are looking for godly and biblically literate young (or young at heart) men, single or married, who feel the call of God on their life to plant and pastor a new Calvary Chapel.

The training program will begin in January of 2011 and in addition to Pastoral and Servant-leadership preparation, it will include Russian language training and immersion.  This is especially geared towards those who feel called to cross-cultural ministry. During this time there will also be opportunity for hands on ministry and short-term missions in various cities throughout Russia.  The goal will be to actually start a new Calvary Chapel in 2012. We are asking for a minimum two year commitment to the new church plant from the first pastor.

We are also looking for young men and young women that would like to be a part of a ministry team to join with one of these future pastors. Those who feel called to be assistants, worship leaders, youth leaders, children’s ministry leaders, etc. will be needed. Each applicant will need to be willing and able to raise their own support and will need to travel to a country bordering with Russia for a week to ten days at least three times during the first calendar year as a part of the Russian government's reciprocal visa requirements. Applicants will need to be healthy, physically fit and servant-minded. If you are interested, the full time Russian and American staff working with CCCPM will be available to assist you as you prayerfully plan for this life changing mission and ministry challenge.

February 2010 Update! PDF Print E-mail

February 9, 2010

Dear Ministry Partner and Friend,

We cannot tell you how grateful we are for your prayers, participation, and support for this ministry in Russia. It hardly seems possible, but we began preparing and praying for our first mission to Russia 22 years ago. We have seen so many changes. We have witnessed God work in so many ways in so many precious lives. We still feel like the work has just begun and the Lord has so much more He wants to do in Russia. It is our hope and prayer that He allows us to continue to be a part of what He is doing there in the lives of the Russian people and the Russian Churches. If you get a moment, please check out our websites at www.calvarychapelofrussia.com and www.cccpm.org. There you can meet our staff and see some of the many ministry opportunities that are available to us. If you have not already been on a short-term mission with us, maybe this is the year God will guide and provide for you to do so.  We would like to share with you some of the opportunities that are coming up:

  • Our Home Base offices and housing is in a small region outside of Moscow.  The building we own there is affectionately called “The Dorm”.  It houses our staff and teams.  We also are able to host small conferences and Pastor’s meetings.  Repairs are needed and an addition would expand our ability to host larger conference.  If you would be interested in helping to coordinate and/or serve or donate materials this summer please contact us @  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • Doors have opened to minister at a number of orphanages.  Laurah Ward is our Orphanage ministry coordinator.  She can provide prayer cards, a needs list and dates that are open to come and serve. For more information about supporting this ministry please contact her via email at:   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it She would love to send you pictures of the orphans who have won our hearts.
  • During the summer we have an internship program.  This is an opportunity to live at the Dorm and experience service with outreach teams, orphanage and general ministry.  Teens and Adults are welcome, this year it will run from June 21st through August 20th.
  • Staff:  The Lord has given us an amazing staff of both Americans and Russians.  Our greatest need is prayer.  We would love for you to download one or several of their prayer support cards, post them on your refrigerator and adopt them as your own personal missionary.
  • We just completed this year’s winter Women’s conference.  The theme was “Revive”.  Many of you sent scholarship funds, supplies and prayer.  Thank you so much.  We would love to share some of the slide show so you can see the faces of these dear women and the joy this conference brought.  They will be posted on Debbi’s webpage: www.biblebusstop.com, by the end of February.  She will periodically post pictures and opportunities to get involved and pray and maybe even join us for next year’s conference, which is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 5-7, 2011.

Again, we want to thank you for your investment in Russian Souls and the Kingdom of God.  Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matt. 25:40.

In His Grace,

George and Debbi
